Wesley Snipes wowed us with his amazing performance in the Blade movies. It seems like tax issues weren’t on his mind because he later forgot to settle some income taxes. Big mistake! He reportedly owed the IRS around $12 million, which he wasn’t able to settle and was later imprisoned! Apparently, one mistake is all it takes for a movie star to be sent to prison, that must have been a real shock for him. Cases like these are why it cannot be stressed enough how important it is for stars to pay their taxes. Far too many have been careless about the issue and found themselves helpless and penniless while they watched all their earnings being taken away from them.
