Calvin Coolidge – About $143K, 1923 Lincoln

John Calvin Coolidge, a well-known name in state politics back then, climbed his way up to become the Massachusetts governor. He dealt with the 1919 Boston Police Strike quite appreciably and thus, carved a niche for himself as an individual who had proper knowledge of what to do under precarious situations.

He went on to become the US Vice President in 1920 and eventually assumed the presidency in 1923 after Warren G. Harding’s sudden demise.

His Lincoln L series car first came into existence in 1920. But after the Lincoln Motor Company went through bankruptcy in 1922, Ford took over and the car went into oblivion.
