The 21st president of the United States Of America was Chester A. Arthur. He took over the post after the death of 20th president James Garfield.
He took part in the American Civil War and once it was over, his interest in politics helped him become a Senator. Though his policies were criticized he surprised many by taking up the cause of civil reforms. Also, during his rule, everything functioned perfectly and some critics described it as “no duty was neglected”.
When he retired 4 years later, he had earned the respects of his subordinates. His home in Sag Harbor that served as his summer house is a piece of history. And the good news is if you want to own the house, it can be yours for $13.5 million. The house is up for sale now in case you are interested!
