Emma Thompson & Greg Wise – Together Since 2003
The Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson met British heartthrob Greg Wise while filming “Sense and Sensibility” in 1995. At the time, Wise was dating Kate Winslet, but he did not take long to fall for the ”Saving Mr. Banks” star. After dating for several years, Thompson and Wise married in July 2003.
Thompson gave birth to their only daughter named Gaia Wise in 1999. Upon failing to conceive again, the couple informally adopted Tindyebwa Agaba, a Rwandan Refugee they met at an event hosted by the Refugee Council. In 2020, the duo became legal residents of Italy after being sworn in as honorary citizens of Venice.
