O’Neill garnered huge success with Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, a classic children’s film and The Young and the Restless, a popular soap opera. She had enough potential in her to make it really big in the entertainment industry, but to everyone’s surprise, Amy took a leave from Hollywood as she was not getting major roles in films and television. Many thought that she had finally shut herself away in one of her retirement homes, but she re-appeared on an MTV documentary in The 100 Greatest Family Films, alongside Thomas Wilson Brown, her co-star from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. O’Neill is now an integral part of her friend, Roy Johns’ crew and is involved in circus acts.
