José Luis Alcaine
El director José Luis Alcaine es oriundo de España. Para iluminar sus escenarios en la década de 1970, fue pionero en las bombillas fluorescentes. La educación para él comenzó en Tánger.
Las películas Belle Époque, Two Much, Blast from the Past y The Skin I Live In presentaron su trabajo. A pesar de su fama como director de fotografía, el DP sigue trabajando en la actualidad. Su carrera en España ha sido muy exitosa, a pesar de que nació en Marruecos. Ha sido nominado y ha ganado el prestigioso premio Goya.
Decidió dedicarse a la fotografía y la cinematografía ya que había estado tomando fotografías con una cámara vieja desde que tenía 12 años y siempre le había asombrado la belleza de los retratos.
