Pinocchio Accidentally Hangs Himself
In the original version by Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio runs away and is found by the police. The police take Gepetto to jail because they think he abused the boy. Pinocchio later returns to his dad’s house and accidentally kills the talking cricket. He then accidentally hangs himself and suffocates to death. Light and upbeat, no?
