Robert Johnson und Sheila Crump – Angebliche Einigung über 400 Millionen Dollar
In 33 gemeinsamen Jahren haben Sheila Crump und Robert Johnson ein beachtliches Vermögen angehäuft, vor allem nachdem sie zusammen das Unternehmen BET gegründet hatten. Der Verkauf von BET an Viacom hat dem Paar rund 3 Milliarden Dollar in die gemeinsame Kasse gespült. Später beschuldigte Crump Johnson, eine dreijährige außereheliche Affäre zu haben und reichte die Scheidung ein. Interessanterweise heiratete Sheila nach ihrer Scheidung den Richter William T. Newman, der schon bei Crumps früheren Scheidungsverfahren den Vorsitz geführt haben soll. Soweit wir wissen, musste Johnson eine Abfindung in Höhe von 400 Millionen Dollar an Crump zahlen. Vielleicht hat ihn die Zahlung dieser Summe dazu bewogen, nie wieder zu heiraten.
