Barbara Brylska, znana z ról w “Panu Wołodyjowskim” i “Faraonie” Jerzego Kawalerowicza, zyskała status jednej z najbardziej cenionych aktorek w powojennej Polsce. Jej niezwykły talent przyniósł jej szerokie uznanie. Po latach pracy w przemyśle filmowym, Brylska zdecydowała się zakończyć karierę aktorską, co potwierdziła po swoim ostatnim filmie “Miłość na wybiegu” w 2009 roku, wycofując się z życia publicznego. Choć propozycje filmowe nadal do niej docierały, wybrała życie rodzinne jako swoje priorytetowe zajęcie. Ślub z Ludwikiem Kosmalem był dla niej spełnieniem marzenia o stabilizacji i założeniu rodziny, na której teraz skupia całą swoją uwagę. Obecnie mieszka w swoim domu pod Warszawą i nie planuje powrotu do show-biznesu.
