Penn Jillette: Dieta da batata
Depois de ser diagnosticado com um bloqueio do coração (de 90%), o mago Penn Jillette optou por um programa de perda de peso para curar-se. Com uma pressão sanguínea extremamente alta que o levou ao hospital, Penn precisou imediatamente diminuiu o peso, o que ele conseguiu seguindo a dieta da batata. Ele não comia nada além de batatas por duas semanas continuamente e milagrosamente perdeu 31 kg em poucos meses. Hoje, o mago está saudável e desistiu de carne, açúcar, refrigerante e produtos refinados; ele gosta de verduras, batatas, ensopados e saladas grandes e nunca se sentiu melhor.
