DOLLY PARTON – Nasceu em 1946

A cantora, compositora, atriz, filantropa e empresária americana Dolly Parton lançou seu álbum de estréia em 1967 e permaneceu no topo das paradas durante os anos 1960, 1970 e 1980. Parton também ganhou uma infinidade de prêmios, e até escreveu sucessos para muitos outros cantores. Seu hit “Jolene” é conhecido no mundo inteiro e Parton continua sendo uma das artistas da música country mais renomadas de todos os tempos. Mesmo que sua carreira musical tenha saído um pouco dos holofotes, Parton continuou investindo em discos e agora possui sua própria empresa, a Dolly Records. Felizmente, ela não pretende se aposentar em breve e nós agradecemos por isso!
