As séries de TV Dias Felizes e Laverne & Shirley, exibidas entre 1974 e 1983, foram a sorte grande de Cindy Williams. A atriz ficou mundialmente conhecida após seus papéis nesses seriados, e ganhou outros trabalhos em séries como Normal Life e Getting By. Mas não foi só na TV que Cindy fez sucesso: ela também estrelou os filmes Loucuras de Verão, A Conversação e E A Festa Acabou. Cindy Williams foi nomeada a um Globo de Ouro e já fez diversas participações ocasionais em séries como Lei & Ordem, Drive e For Your Love. Aos 71 anos, ela tem um patrimônio líquido de US$ 10 milhões, e não parou de trabalhar. A julgar por sua aparência, podemos dizer que Cindy investiu boa parte de seu dinheiro na própria beleza: ela ainda parece jovem para sua idade.
