Leslie Barbara Carter não era tão conhecida quanto seus irmãos, Nick Carter e Aaron Carter, mas definitivamente seguiu seus passos no mundo da música. Sua família revelou que Leslie lutou com ansiedade e depressão durante boa parte de sua vida mas em 31 de janeiro de 2012 ela foi declarada morta devido a uma overdose de drogas. A cantora misturou substâncias fortes como alprazolam, ciclobenzaprina e olanzapina, todos os medicamentos prescritos, e isso foi demais para o seu corpo. Antes de falecer, Leslie expressou seu desejo de visitar uma clínica de reabilitação para se livrar de seu vício, mas ela não sobreviveu para ver aquele dia. Talvez uma reabilitação tivesse dado uma vida nova para ela.
