Alex Rodriguez & Cynthia Scurtis – Settlement: Reported $26 million

Alexander Enmanuel Rodriguez, or ‘A-Rod’ as he is more popularly known is an American former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman, businessman, and philanthropist. The athlete and the former teacher have been together from 2002 to 2008 when Scurtis filed for divorce as Rodriguez’s extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct made her emotionally starved. The former couple shares two daughters, Natasha and Ella.

Scurtis filed for divorce in 2008 after clocking six years of married life. She got to keep their $12 million mansions in Florida and got to cut down on his $26 million earnings that season. Well, going by that she took almost half of his earnings. It seems she has been able to get a great settlement deal.

Although their divorce was ‘very messy’ at that time, things are a lot better between the ex-couple now. After Rodriguez’s breakup with Jennifer Lopez, he is spending a lot of time with his former wife and his two daughters.
