The Hollywood actor has been a renowned figure in the entertainment industry and has laid his hands on a number of accolades and awards such as a Primetime Emmy, more than four Golden Globe awards, at least one Academy Award, the AFI Life Achievement, and the highly-esteemed Cecil B. DeMille Award. He got married to Diandra Luker in 1977, only to split in 2000. Douglas shelled out $45 million from his bank account to award the settlement amount to Diandra. He is now well settled in life with his second wife, the lovely Catherine Zeta-Jones, and he seems so much happier.

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock – Settlement: Reported $ 2.3 Million


Kelly Clarkson, the singer, and American Idol star has filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock in June 2020. Kelly Clarkson met Brandon Blackstock, in 2006 at the Academy of Country Music Awards. However, what we would like to know is what prompted the duo to go their separate ways after seven years of marriage and two adorable children?

Well, the thing that is separating the duo is their diametrically opposite nature while Her music manager husband Brandon is laidback, Kelly on the other hand is high-strung. They have been ‘disconnecting’ for quite some time now and staying in quarantine together further heightened their problems.

This new divorce arrangement will mean that Kelly will give Brandon something around $195,601. Reports say that she has to pay $1.25 million to pay her estranged husband’s attorney fees and costs for their divorce proceedings. She also has the primary custody of her two kids, River and Remington.

Johnny Depp & Amber Heard – Settlement: Reported $7 Million

Among all the divorce cases that we keep hearing from the celebrity world, the one between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was one of the most difficult to stomach. No one could have imagined that things weren’t going well between these two, but things went from bad to worse between them in a matter of years and they seemed to have no choice but to split up eventually. Amber even donated all of the money that she got from the large $7 million settlement to various charity foundations. The settlement became complicated when both of them accused each other of domestic abuse, although they both signed a non-disclosure agreement and decided to move on with their lives. One downside of this was that Amber lost job opportunities.
