Robert Johnson & Sheila Crump – Settlement: Reported $400 Million
Throughout 33 years of staying together, Sheila Crump and Robert Johnson garnered a hefty fortune, especially after they launched BET. However, the couple raked in around $3 billion in their banks by selling BET to Viacom. Crump, later on, accused Johnson of having a three-year extramarital affair and filed for a divorce. After a while, Sheila took wedding vows with Judge William T. Newman who is said to have presided over Crump’s previous divorce proceedings. As far as our knowledge goes, Johnson had to pay a settlement amount of $400 million to Crump and perhaps shelling out that much money made him decide never to remarry again.
