Johnny Carson & Joanna Holland – Settlement: Reported $20 Million
Joanna may have pocketed $20 million when she got a divorce, but this amount means, even more, today due to the depreciation of the currency. However, that’s what happens when you go through a divorce with someone like Johnny Carson, who happens to be one of the most popular and successful actors of the last and current century. These two married in secret – a move which must have seemed like the right one to make. They managed to keep their marriage working for another 13 years, but that was the extent of it. While the divorce ended up putting a dent to Johnny’s bank account, he seems to have moved on from the whole affair and live quite a pleasant life before his unfortunate passing in 2005.
