Colin Firth & Livia Giuggioli – Settlement: Reported $12.5 Million
Colin Firth, the Academy Award-winning English actor, and Livia Giuggioli, the Italian film producer met on the set of the 1996 BBC drama Nostromo and were immediately attracted to each other. In fact, they got married just a year after. They later moved to the picturesque Italian region of Umbria, near Tuscany, and welcomed their two boys, Luca and Matteo. However, much to the disappointment of their fans, the two got divorced recently after announcing to the world that they are separating after 22 years of marriage, in 2019.
People closer to the family knew that things weren’t exactly hunky-dory between them. There were whispers of an extramarital relationship between Giuggioli and Italian journalist Marco Brancaccia when Colin and Livia had a brief break between 2015 and 2016.
The duo still persisted with the relationship but cracks were already surfacing in their relationship and sadly they couldn’t save their marriage of 22 years. Their divorce settlement amount turned out to be one of the most expensive divorce settlements ever at $12.5 million!
