The popular singer and songwriter’s expertise in the country music genre led him up the popularity charts in America as well as all over the world. The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) states that Brooks is among the best-selling solo albums artists the nation has ever seen and facts suggest that he has even surpassed the iconic Elvis Presley by selling almost 148 million domestic units. He chanced upon Sandy Mahl during their college days, and the duo got married in 1986. However, they appointed a divorce attorney in 2001 and Sandy walked away with $125 million.

Neil Diamond & Marcia Murphey – Settlement: Reported $150 Million

Popular singer Neil Diamond took wedding vows with production assistant Marcia Murphey in 1969 and welcomed their two sons, Micah and Jesse, into their family. However, their marital bliss lasted for 25 years as the duo decided to file for a divorce in 1995. According to Forbes, Diamond was instructed to divide his $300 million-worth estate into two and give up one half to Murphy. Neil blamed himself for the separation and he ensured that Marcia received enough to live her life comfortably. Professionally, he had achieved immense success in his musical career and has notched up a $150 million net worth in his bank account.

Reba McEntire & Narvel Blackstock – Settlement: Reported $47.5 million

The country singer, Reba McEntire married her manager, and former steel guitar player, Narvel Blackstock, walked down the aisle in 1989. The pair took over Reba’s career together and created the company Starstruck Entertainment. They had a son together, Shelby, and Reba inherited her three step-children from the marriage.

The divorce wasn’t her idea, although. As she shared in the interview, it was really hard to make adjustments when people aren’t happy. The duo’s left their fans in a state of shock when they went on to announce their separation in 2015.

They split up after spending 26 years of marriage together. Reba believed that everyone deserves to be happy in their lives. It is believed the duo despite being separated are still on good terms which is great to see. Their divorce settlement was approximately $47.5 million.
