Lance Armstrong & Kristin Richard – Settlement: Reported $14 Million
It’s pretty obvious that losing $14 million isn’t even close to the worst thing about this divorce for Lance. He met his wife during a difficult time when he was suffering from testicular cancer – which was back in 1997 – and proceeded to have some really great years with her. He even won the Tour de France multiple times when they were married, and it didn’t look like one day they wouldn’t be together anymore, especially as Kristin had gone as far as moving to France for her husband. Unfortunately, they couldn’t go the distance together and got a divorce in 2003 with Lance admitting that he had never faced a trial of such magnitude before.
