How Much Gold Is There In Fort Knox?
Fort Knox is a U.S. Army Garrison where the country’s gold reserves are kept safe. The fort has an impressive defense complete with a 20-ton steel door and highly trained armed guards who patrol the perimeter. Fort Knox holds about 147.3 million troy ounces of gold, which is worth around $130 billion in today’s gold prices.
