Penn Jillette: Potato Diet
After being diagnosed for a heart blockage (90% blockage), magician Penn Jillette opted for a weight loss program to heal. With an extremely high blood pressure that drove him to the hospital, Penn had to immediately drop his weight, which he achieved by following the potato diet. He ate nothing but potatoes for two weeks continuously and miraculously dropped about 70lb in a few months. Today, the magician is healthy and has given up meat, sugar, soda and refined products; he enjoys greens, spuds, stews and large salads and has never felt better.
