Though she never signed on to sing with her performing family The Osmonds, Marie Osmond made a name for herself around 1970, establishing her solo career. Her solo hit “Paper Roses” became internationally known and soon, Osmond was on her way to releasing successful hits back to back. Marie Osmond is not just a musician, but also a successful author and businesswoman. Her success must have made her net worth quite high. Osmond has battled with postpartum depression and was wrongly assumed to be under drug detox which was just a reaction to a medication she had been taking. The suicide of her son in 2010 brought a lot of unwanted media scrutiny on the family, leading them to involve their lawyer to solve the fiasco.
