Glen Campbell – Born 1936 (to 2017)
Remember The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour that was hosted by none other than famous country music star, Glen Campbell? The show’s popularity was pretty much thanks to Campbell’s charm and persona, but after the show was cancelled, times turned out to be tough for him. Campbell finally returned to music, and thankfully didn’t have to refinance his properties. Campbell battled with drug and alcohol addiction since the early ’70s, visiting rehab several times. He relapsed in 2003 and fought with the addiction until his later days. The musician was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and in spite of his failing health, continued making music. His final stage performances were to honor his fans; Campbell passed away in 2017 at age 81.
