The 7-foot-0 and 273-pound Greg Oden only played for one season for the Buckeyes, steering his team to many wins at the Big Ten regular-season and tournament championships, and made an appearance in the 2007 national title game. His average turned out to be 15.7 points and 9.6 rebounds per game to earn the first-team All-American honors. He turned out to be the number 1 pick at the Portland Trail Blazers in the summer’s NBA Draft. However, injuries cut short his promising career.

He could play only 23 games before he found out that retirement was the only option for him because of a recurring foot injury. After retirement, he went to opt for basketball school.

He also became a student manager at the men’s basketball team at Ohio State which allowed him to complete his studies. Armed with a degree in the sports industry, the Edyoucore Sports and Entertainment hired him for his skills as an athlete adviser.
