Former NBA Players Who Surprised Everyone With Their Choice of Jobs After Retirement

Bill Walton – Sports Broadcaster

Bill Walton was a name, to begin with at the UCLA Bruins in the 1970s. No one can ignore a champion who has given two back-to-back wins at the national championships!

He followed an easy transition to NBA and the team Portland Trailblazers went on to induct him into their teams. Sure enough, his winning streak continued at Portland as he won two titles and also became the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

After seeking retirement in 1987 after overcoming his stammer, he became a successful NBA analyst for prestigious networks such as CBS, ABC/ESPN, NBC, and the Los Angeles Clippers. He was working too hard and decided to take a break from work. But, then again a busy man like him can hardly stay away from his chosen career for long, and he happily embraced full-time work again. No wonder he is a happy man.
