Historical Accuracy Clause
Apparently, Tom Hanks agreed to be a part of the film on one condition. He stated that the movie had to be historically accurate and that the events shown in the film shouldn’t be changed in any way whatsoever. The accuracy of each historical event was a defining feature in the film. It is believed that a clause was signed by the filmmakers in presence of their attorney and only then did Hanks agree to be cast in the movie.
