Sports fans all around the world might have heard of Phil Knight. He is an American businessman who co-founded the sportswear brand Nike, Inc, which sponsors and provides outfits for thousands of athletes globally. He also has stakes in several other ventures, such as the stop-motion animation studio named Laika.
Meanwhile, his wife, Penny Knight, is a philanthropist. The lovebirds tied the knot in 1968 and have since been inseparable. Among the numerous times that she has been in the news for her philanthropic efforts, in 2021, Forbes reported that she donated about $500 Million to the University Of Oregon along with her husband.
