Tegan Acton and Brian Acton are billionaires dwelling in Palo Alto, California. Not much is known about the former, except that she has been engaged in some significant philanthropy; Brian is a Stanford University graduate who used to work at Yahoo! with Jan Koum.
The two coworkers had a great time together, and eventually, in 2009, they developed a little mobile phone chatting application you might’ve heard of called WhatsApp. It made waves across the globe and, at one point, became the most used application. It was sold to Facebook Inc, now Meta, for a whopping $19 billion while still holding almost 20% stake in the company.
