Gordie Howe — Colleen Howe
This couple is sadly no longer with us, but their love story is one worth telling. They’re still with us in our hearts, and ice hockey player Gordie had made sure to cherish Colleen throughout their life together. Upon her death, Gordie was said to have uttered the words that she was everything to him and told of how he first saw her at a beauty contest which she didn’t win. According to him, she was the prettiest girl there, and he was sure to give her his number! They both stayed together all their lives with no mention of a divorce attorney, and we hope they’re in a better place now.
