A former Miss California USA winner, Nicole Johnson crossed paths with Phelps couple at the ESPY Awards in 2007. Their relationship had its own dark phases, but after overcoming every hurdle, the duo secretly tied the knot in 2016. Now in retirement, Michael can fully focus on being a dad to his sons, Boomer and Beckett, with the lovely Nicole by his side.
