The basketball star is enjoying a great phase in her life, apart from securing a gold medal (her second one) with the U.S Olympic women’s basketball team, she has also found a cheerleader for life and that is none other than her wife, Cherelle.

They recently celebrated their anniversary and Cherelle even said that they would like to do everything together till of course kids come to take over. They met while they were students at Baylor and Brittney popped the question in 2018.

Although we don’t know an exact wedding date, it looks like the couple walked down the aisle when Cherelle changed her last name on her social media to Griner. Cherelle is a blogger and is still working as a law student at North Carolina Central University. The WAG is a teacher after attaining a bachelor’s degree in political science and government.

Marta Xargay – Breanna Stewart

Breanna Stewart and Marta Xargay Casademont walked down the aisle in an at-home intimate ceremony in July 2021. Since then, wonderful things have been happening in their lives that include having a baby together, Ruby Mae, via surrogate on August 9, 2021.

The duo met as teammates when both of them were playing in the Russian women’s basketball league for the Dynamo Kursk during the season of 2018-2019. They already had a different set of friends and did not think the need of befriending each other.

Stewart, who now helps lead the WNBA Seattle Storm, says it took time to build and then nurture the relationship. It was after some time that Stewart found the courage to go ahead and talk to Marta. However, once that happened, they knew they were in it for the long haul.

Candace Parker has been able to establish her supremacy on the court and has been able to establish her prowess off it too. The WNBA champ has recently shared with her fans on Instagram about her marriage to fellow basketball player Anna Petrakova.

She shared that she is lucky to marry her best friend before her close family and friends, Although the journey has been anything but easy for them, it has been completely worth it.

Petrakova has been also vociferous about her love for Candace and how she has accepted her daughter from her previous marriage as her own. The duo is head over in heels in love and the greatest support system for each other. Here’s to wishing the duo all the best for a great future together.
