Although Clarissa Ward has been traveling all around the world covering topical happenings across the world, not many know about her personal life. Her husband is Philipp von Bernstorff, who has an impressive resume as well, as he’s a German count and a businessman.

They met at a dinner party in Moscow in 2007. As Ward recalled her husband even said that war correspondents are egomaniacs. Instead of taking offense, she laughed out loud. She knew then and there that he was different, his honesty was what set him apart. The duo got married in 2016 in London after a decade-long relationship and now are the proud parents of two adorable children.
