James Douglas Muir “Jay” Leno is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, and erstwhile late-night television host. After being a popular stand-up comedian for years, he became the host of the popular show, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009.

He and his better half Mavis have been together for 39 years. Well, he shares, a secret as to how they been able to stay happy together for so many years, “Here’s the secret: You marry your conscience … You marry the person you wish you could be. That’s what I did.”
