Madison Cawthorn and Cristina Cawthorn – Settlement: Undisclosed
Rep. Madison Cawthorn and his wife of 8 months, Cristina Cawthorn, are all set to part ways. One of the youngest Republican members, the duo were married together in North Carolina.
Cawthorn described Christina as an Instagram fitness influencer. The duo split because of irreconcilable differences and the various challenges in their political life.
Cawthorn, a real estate investor before running for office, had been known as the rising star of the Republican party but his political career has been pretty controversial. Cawthorn said he and his wife were trying committed to making things work but they soon realized that they were unable to achieve the balance that they needed to sustain the marriage. Hopefully, they resolve their divorce issues soon and have an amicable parting.
