He is just in his mid-fifties and is miles away from retirement. He is pretty happy and content with the way he has shaped up his career. While we, regular folk, would have to avail a loan to afford a condo unit in Greenwich Village, Shepard didn’t even break a sweat after purchasing a unit for himself, and as far as our knowledge goes, he had decided to put it back in the market. The listing price of the property was something close to $4 million. Smith bought the house for an approximate $1.875 million in 2004. Due to the absence of buyers, the price came down to an estimated $3.95 million and the property was finally taken off the market in 2012.
