Iconic Celebrities From The Golden Age That Are Still Alive – For Them Age Really Is Just A Number

Marsha Hunt -1917

Born in 1917, Marsha Hunt turned 100 years old in 2017. Despite being old, Marsha has been known to be a staunch activist for climate change, and ending poverty in third world countries. Her career spans over a whopping seven decades. Her noteworthy films include Pride and Prejudice, Raw Deal, Born To The West, and many more. She started her career with modeling and was quite reluctant to sign up for her first contract. However, things changed radically once she did. At the peak of her career, she was blacklisted for some time. She took retirement but came back and did a number of TV series. Her bank accounts never suffered, and she never had to take a reverse mortgage. Even at 103, she made a public appearance in 2017. Currently, she spends her days in Sherman Oaks, California.

 Jacqueline White — 1922

Jacqueline never had a much-prolonged career, but the impact she had on her fans was immense. Being a UCLA student, her performance in Ah, Wilderness! led to her screen test and later on, her first appearance on the big screen with Song of Russia in 1944. Her portrayals in movies like The Narrow Margin and Crossfire are well-remembered until today. Her talent and beauty were mesmerizing, and she started ruling people’s hearts in no time. Though Jacqueline had all the traits of a superstar, she took up retirement when she was still in her hayday, and the 95-year-old now just eases up at her retirement home.

Johnny Crawford – 1946

Some people remember Johnny Crawford as one of the original “Mouseketeers” from Disney, but most remember him as Mark McCain, the son of Lucas McCain in the iconic western series, The Rifleman. At the age of only 13, Crawford had been nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor – which is quite impressive in and of itself. Sadly, Crawford is one of the only remaining cast members still alive from the show, but luckily for us, at the age of 72, he has no set plans to retire any time soon.
