Musician Harry Belafonte is famous for his songs like “Banana Boat Song” and “Jamaican Farewell”. The songs are legendary and is popular across countries, cultures, and even languages. He has also acted in movies that became quite big hits. Belafonte is a well-known humanitarian. When the song “We Are The World” was to be shot, he took big responsibilities to make it happen. We guess he would have done more for charity if only he didn’t have to undergo surgery for his prostate cancer. We hope the cancer is gone now, and he is in good health!
