Karolyn Grimes faced the camera for the first time at the age of six months, however, her first proper role came at the age of five. Her most notable works include It’s A Wonderful Life and The Bishop’s Wife. Despite having great talent, the actress had suffered one setback after another in her personal life. She lost both her parents by the time she was 14, and she had to move in with her uncle and aunt, complying to a court rule. Her first husband died in an accident after their divorce, her son committed suicide, and her next husband died of cancer in 1994. But her strong will allowed her to face these challenges head-on, and now, even at 78, she has great fitness that not many can achieve. Hopefully, her various engagements with the movie It’s A Wonderful Life, and her own career as a medical technologist have helped her revive her retirement plans after her financial setback that happened in the 2000s.
