Even before Karyn Parsons clinched the role of Hilary Banks in The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, she had done two other shows. So, she was not exactly a newbie in the world of glitz and glamor. But The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air definitely gave her the much-needed break which made her foothold stronger in the industry. It ensured that her bank account is always loaded, and she can always pay her credit card’s bills. Aside from TV series, she also did a handful of films. The most significant ones are Major Payne and Ladies Man. Apart from that, she also co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in a TV series titled The Lush Life. But it aired only four episodes. Given her career so far, she can be called moderately successful. As for her personal life, she has a son and a daughter from her marriage with actor Alexandre Rockwell.
