Jo Marie Payton
Jo Marie Payton played the role of Harriet Baines Winslow. However, she was introduced in the show when Perfect Strangers was being aired. She was the wife of Carl Winslow in the show which made her the matriarch of the Winslow family. As Harriet, she had to leave her job in the police academy as she needed to concentrate on bringing up her children. In real life though, Jo Marie continued working in other TV shows and films. Looks like a steady flow of income has ensured that she or her children will never have to take out a loan or refinance and will always have more than enough in their bank accounts.
