Oprah Winfrey, one of the world’s most successful women, is often hailed as the Queen of All Media and there are ample reasons behind it. Last century, she was one African-American who had maximum wealth under her belt.
Her current fortune is in the ball-park of $2.7 billion. Oprah is now a proud Pacific Northwest landowner. In order to actually see Oprah’s new crib, you’ll need to take a ferry, something that Oprah paid a lot for.
Her new estate is sprawling on a 43-acre in Orcas Island, north of Seattle. This new property that Oprah purchased is known as Madroneagle, and she spent $8.2 million to have it all to herself. The mansion comes with a main house, a guest house, a gazebo with glass walls, a barn and workshop,, and a sauna. And for a bonus, the island is known as a hot spot for whale watching, so Oprah will have something to do when she’s out of her crib.
