Lovingly known as Papa Bear, Geroge Halas had immense contributions to American Football. Halas would always be known as the founder, owner, and head coach of the National Football League side, the Chicago Bears.

Many are not aware of the fact that he showcased good skills as a New York Yankees player in Major League Baseball. George left for his heavenly abode on the 31st of October, 1983. He lived in the Edgewater Beach apartments for more than 30 years and was supposedly one of his retirement homes. A few years back, the property was put up on the market at an asking price of a rough $1.15 million.
