Humans have been using gold for decoration as early as 4,000 B.C. Gold objects had been found throughout the ancient world. They were used in the tombs of pharaohs; by Celts during the third century B.C. as dental implants; and, by Stone Age women as necklaces. There could be other ancient civilizations, yet undiscovered, who were also investing in gold.
