En se référant à ses looks et son style dans les nombreux films qu’il a tournés, on peut bien penser que Johnny Depp a des goûts particulièrement atypiques en matière de demeure. Dans la réalité, cette hypothèse se confirme, car l’acteur a récemment acheté un étrange immeuble localisé en plein cœur de Venise, dans le Canal Grande. Johnny aurait remarqué cette merveille pendant le tournage de The Tourist, un de ses films à succès.
Un grand palais érigé au XVIIe siècle, le Palazzo Dona Sangiantoffetti adopte une apparence très douteuse. Et même si l’acteur est passé par une période de difficultés financières, il n’hésite pas à dépenser 8,5 millions de dollars pour se procurer cet étrange palais. Espérons de tout cœur qu’il ne regrettera pas sa décision plus tard et qu’il saura bien profiter de sa nouvelle maison vénitienne.
