Though Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly were married only for nine months, their chemistry both on and off screen was so electrifying and palpable that people still remember them as a couple. Jim Carrey is undoubtedly one of the best actors around, and he has proven his worth in movies like The Mask, Bruce Almighty, Me, Myself And Irene, and The Number 23. It was during the audition of the movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective when Jim met Lauren. Perhaps that was when their chemistry started because the next time they worked together in Dumb and Dumber, they were very much into each other.
