Robin Roberts & Amber Laign
In 2007, Robin Roberts underwent one of the greatest struggles of her life when the Good Morning America host got diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy treatments and it was during this time when Robin revealed her identity as a Sapphic woman. Despite keeping their relationship as low key as possible, we did get to know that the couple met through a blind date, and Robin is thankful that they did.
She considered her long-time girlfriend as a great support in time of need. Robin believes that it was through Amber’s presence that she was able to recover from the deadly disease she encountered. The well-known licensed massage therapist certainly made a difficult time more tolerable and easy for our beloved host! We hope that Roberts has recovered well and is in the pink of health.
