A well-known advocate of marriage equality with a sweet heartfelt story. The A Quiet Passion star confessed that she had never kissed or dated another woman until she met Christine Marinoni. Christine is another activist and has been in a relationship with Nixon since 2003. Together, they not only take care of Nixon’s two children from her previous relationship with Danny Mozes but also have another son whom they adopted in 2011.
The couple is ecstatic to be together and plan to get married soon, especially since their engagement in 2009. Two strong women with a desire to change the world for the greater good found each other while doing so. We can’t help but feel a lot of admiration for them and their work!
