The Night Before the Results
Right before the night when the winning lottery tickets were announced, Cindy actually wasn’t thinking about the lottery ticket at all. She talked to Jade that thinking too much about it is useless because it may never happen.
The next day, however, when she dropped Jade off at school, she thought of going to the convenience stoor again which she did. When she finally took a look at the screen and to her surprise she saw the winning numbers of the Power Ball Lottery took her breath away. She blinked again to register what she was seeing.
