The Hills then decided to donate three million dollars to the fire department of Dearborn. The money was provided to the department to build a whole new station in the neighboring Camden Point, it also helped them to get a new ambulance which worked particularly well for them.
Mark spoke candidly to KMBC that he was successful in contributing in his small way to help a town of 500 people the service of an ambulance that remained in their service 24/7. His parents had been saved by firefighters in their lifetime in the past and Mark was grateful to express his gratitude in his own way.
